Timeframes and Page Limits

Adhering to time and page limits is crucial. The clock starts after your project plan is approved, so plan your work accordingly.

BSc Thesis

• Credits: 15 EC
  
• Duration: Finish within 10 weeks from project plan approval (green light approval required).
  
• Page Limit: Up to 40 pages (excluding table of contents, appendices, etc.).

MSc Thesis

• Credits: 30 EC
  
• Duration: Finish within 20 weeks from project plan approval (green light approval required).
  
• Page Limit: Up to 70 pages (excluding table of contents, appendices, etc.).

Extensions

• Extensions of up to 50% (5 weeks for BSc, 10 weeks for MSc) can be authorized by the program director in special circumstances. Discuss this with your supervisor if needed.
