Green-Light Meeting Preparation Checklist (MSc)
Dear student, this is the date of your Green Light meeting—congratulations!
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please take care of the following:
Familiarize yourself with the formal procedures, including Mobility Online, the grading rubric, important dates, and deadlines. You can find all relevant information on the IEM MSc Thesis Preparation Canvas page.
Finalize your pre-thesis portfolio tasks.
Confirm the confidentiality agreement with the company (if applicable).
At least 4 working days before the meeting, send an email to both supervisors with:
The final version of your thesis, including all required sections (e.g., management summary, abstract, conclusions). 1. Please ensure the thesis is up to 70 pages of text, excluding the table of contents, appendices, etc.
Important: Your abstract and management summary should be clear and concise, highlighting key findings (both quantitative and qualitative) and the main takeaways. Keep in mind that your abstract will be published in the UT repository and is often the first thing people see when searching for your work.
(Optional) Prepare a 20-minute presentation for practice and feedback.
After receiving the green light, you may apply for your colloquium. Please bring this form pre-filled so I can sign it.
We will propose time slots for your colloquium within the next 15 days. We prefer to schedule them in the afternoon (13:45–15:30) in the Ravelijn building, so guests have enough time to commute to and from UT if needed.
Good luck with your preparation!
